The ORIA mini does indeed support 2.1 audio setups.
On the back panel of the ORIA Mini, you will find 3 Output TRS connectors. The left (L), right (R) and SUB outputs all of which would be directly connected to your monitor speakers and a sub-woofer.
It’s worth noting, that currently, Sonarworks SoundID Reference Multi-channel 2.1 profiles cannot be exported from Sonarworks into the ORIA Mini, so the crossover and sub output must be set up prior to carrying out a calibration.
The sub output itself is fed from the L and R input channels, and is then passed through a low pass filter at your chosen crossover frequency using the ORIA Mini’s built in subwoofer post-processing.
For example, if you set the crossover frequency to 100hz on the left and right channels, this will cut everything above 100hz, and send that out to the SUB output. This will also cut everything below 100hz in the L and R outputs to ensure you’re not sending the same frequencies out of the sub and your main speakers at the same time.
To set up the crossover, open up ORIA Control, press “Setup”, select the Left or Right channel, and can activate the Crossover setting by pressing ‘On’, and adjust the frequency as desired.
Be sure to set this on both the Left and Right speakers. Consult your speaker manufacturer's manual for recommended crossover frequency.
