ORIA Mini receives power from its USB connection. In most applications, ORIA Mini will be connected to a computer via USB, which will provide ORIA Mini with power. However, should you wish to use ORIA Mini as a standalone device, then it can be powered from a USB Mains adaptor.
USB mains adaptors can come in many forms, but they plug into a power socket, take the mains voltage and drop it to the 5V DC power required by USB devices. They are also referred to as phone chargers, for example.
If using a USB mains adaptor to power ORIA Mini, please ensure that it can provide the following specifications:
- Output Voltage: 5V DC
- Current: 900mA
Most modern USB mains adaptors will be able to provide this, but please double-check this before plugging in ORIA Mini.
If you are unsure about the specifications of your USB mains adaptor, please contact support by raising a ticket.
