Occasionally, Audient will release new firmware for iD48 to add additional features and ensure ongoing compatibility with operating system updates.
Provided it has internet access, the iD Desktop Software will periodically check if any new firmware updates are available and inform you if there are. You can also check manually by going to the Help menu and clicking Check for Updates.
If an update is available, the iD application will notify you. Click ‘OK’ to begin the firmware update process.
The iD application will then launch the Audient Firmware Upgrade software.
You can now choose to update from audient.com or from a local file. If your computer has an internet connection, you would want to select ‘From audient.com’ to ensure you are installing the latest firmware version.
If your computer does not have an internet connection, please contactsupport@audient.com, and our team will be able to provide you with the latest firmware file to install locally.
Now you can click ‘Next’. You will see a warning to close any programs using the interface (such as your DAW). Now select "OK" and press "update" to begin the firmware update process.
Once complete, a notification will appear to confirm the update has been installed. You can now close the Audient Firmware Upgrade window and continue using your iD48.
