When launching the ORIA Control Desktop Software for the first time, the OS will ask for local networking permission. If these permissions are not granted by the user, the ORIA Control Desktop Software and the ORIA Control iPad app will have difficulty communicating with each other.
The ORIA Control Desktop Software, therefore, will check for the availability of the networking permissions and display the following error if the permissions are not granted.

MacOS
To enable Network permission for the ORIA Control Desktop Software on macOS, open System Settings and navigate to Privacy and Security > Local Network
Ensure both "ORIA Control" and "Audient Device Manager" have Local Network Permission enabled as shown below.

Windows
To enable Network permission for the ORIA Control Desktop Software on macOS, open Control Panel and navigate to System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall > Allowed Applications
Now, ensure that "audientdevicemanager.exe" has access to Public Networks, as shown below.
