Audient provides default presets which give you a great variety of sounds, including bass presets to give you great sounding tones to build from.
The default presets are available from the following link for download:
https://audient.com/products/audio-interfaces/sono/downloads/
Once downloaded, you would need to copy these from your downloads folder to the following directory on your computer:
Documents/Two note Audio Engineering/Presets
This will allow you to easily access the presets using the Torpedo Remote software.
Now launch Torpedo Remote, either logging into your current Two Notes account or creating a new account and double click on the Sono in the Device rack.
(Please note that if you haven’t already, you will need to register the Sono to your Two Notes account to get the 20 included cabs. The Torpedo Remote application will talk you through these steps if required)
You will also need to load the cabinets used for these presets onto Sono's internal memory as these will be needed to use the presets away from the computer. To do this, Go to the top menu bar again and select Cabinet Manager.
For the default three presets, you would need to load in the following cabinets by dragging them to the right column:
- Brit 60A
- SilverJen
- Bassflex
Once the cabs have been loaded onto Sono is open click on Preset Manager in the top menu bar.
You should then see the presets you just downloaded on the left-hand side of the screen in your presets folder. These can then be dragged onto Slots A, B and C on Sono's internal memory allowing you to use these presets at any time, even when away from the computer
Once these presets and cabinets are loaded onto Sono, you can use them at any time by simply cycling through the A, B and C slots on Sono using the C.A.B button, giving you great tones at the touch of a button.
But there are a wealth of tonal options available so don't be afraid of exploring the Torpedo remote and making your own presets!
