Very rarely, the Windows Driver installer has been reported as getting stuck at a point where it tries to exit other instances of the iD application or the installer. If the iD14 was connected to the computer before the installer was ran then Windows may be trying to install generic USB audio drivers for the iD14 in the background which is stopping the iD installer from working correctly.
The quickest way to resolve this is to restart the computer and attempt the installation without the iD14 connected to your computer. If this doesn't resolve the problem, running the installer as an admin may resolve the issue. To do this, ensure that you are logged in on the Admin account of your computer and then right click on the installer file and 'Run as Admin'.
Finally, if non of these suggestions resolve your problem, we would recommend booting into safe mode and then running the installer as this will stop any background tasks from blocking the installer.
