We are pleased to announce the latest update of the Sono software: Version v4.0.9. The latest update includes bug fixes and further improvements to both the user interface and experience. Version v4.0.9 is now available to download for all Sono users via both our web and support sites. This update is highly recommended to ensure you’re getting the best performance possible from Sono.
We are aware that some units shipped without the three default presets being installed. This means that the Torpedo processing will not function until you have connected the unit to your computer and downloaded your favourite cabinets and preset.
To rectify this and ensure that the default cabs and presets are installed to your Sono, the new version of software will now check your device automatically and if the default presets are not found, it will prompt you to install them. If you already have the default or custom presets installed you will not be prompted.
To install this update, head to audient.com/products/audio-interfaces/sono/downloads/ and download the installer for your system. Follow the instructions through until the installer has finished.
We, Audient, would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to our users. We have taken steps to ensure this won’t happen again in the future.
